Álex Sánchez de Orduña, from León, Spain, now based in Ireland; emerged from the Municipal School of Music of León, and now develops an intense activity as a drummer in a country always devoted to musical matters.

He plays drums since he was a child and, in his case, we can say it is a flying instrument which takes him to Dublin. Because there is a bit of all that in Álex Sánchez de Orduña, maybe the drummer from León with the most peculiar career of recent times and still young. He always plays out of a comfort zone, both in terms of places and workmates. And his, was not an intentional decision but to get oneself swept up in passion without stopping whatever may be the circumstances. Because of that, what a young Leonese is doing on stage in Dublin is no more than showing that you don’t have to wait till 30 to reinvent yourself.
